Thirteen cents short.
Sep. 4th, 2008 07:14 pmNot bad at ALL, considering I found eleven cents on the floor -- which I probably should have thrown in the till, but I don't get to count my own shit -- and that I was on the register ALL DAY MINUS THIRTY MINUTES.
My knees are killing me.
And I hate that I'm NOT a keyholder anymore and I can't do shit for myself. It royally, ROYALLY sucks. I think that's the part I'm gonna hate the most, asking for help. I HATE asking for help. I like to avoid people as much as possible, or deal with them for as brief a period (or as infrequently) as I can.
I want a key. I wanna be responsible. I wanna know what I'm doing and be in charge. :/
Breaks are scheduled. That will also suck (I like eating when I'm hungry, not when I'm TOLD. I'm NOT a child). Fortunately, aside of today and tomorrow, I doubt my shifts will ever be this long.
At least it's kinda busy? Maybe actually working in the framing department -- like I'm supposed to -- will be better.
Slightly less un-thrilled than I was yesterday, but still quite so.

ATTENTION UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT: YOU NEED TO START LISTING "MULTIRACIAL" AS AN OPTION (or "check all that apply" instead of "check one," or, fuck it, just nix the question altogether) FOR RACE ON TAX FORMS AND JUNK BECAUSE THIS SINGLE-RACE NONSENSE AIN'T CUTTIN' IT. How dare you make me choose between my mom and my dad! ;-; Seriously, I thought we were supposed to be a melting pot, and no such option(s) just promote(s) this salad bowl mentality.
P.P.S. Decoding Haley's cryptograms is amazingly fun, even if there are confusing typos here and there. ^_^
