Good day!

While it started out kinda crappy -- what with the rain and the NOT going shopping and the very small tiff with Lynda -- it ended up really great.

I stopped off at Lynda's so we could go to the game together; I took the bus to her place and I didn't realize I'd get there so QUICKLY! Rego Park has always seemed like it was lightyears away, but I felt like I got there in twentyish minutes (FF4 had NOTHING to do with that. ♪whistle♪).

I met the kitty (and informed Lynda of the Sword of Truth TV series and we both squeed over the actors) and then we grabbed bagels and tea before heading off to the game. We left around six-fifteen, and I was worried we weren't going to make it in time, but we got to our seats with fifteen minutes to spare. :O And the seats -- which we only paid five dollars for -- were awesome! Upper level, yeah, but first base side, in the BOXES. They were GRAND.

Mets won, 10-8. They're three games up on Philly. )

After the train ride (which included singing a few Dr. Horrible songs), Lynda and I went back to her apartment. The cats didn't bother me as much as they normally do. I was so surprised and so happy! And then I made Lynda watch the first two episodes of Avatar and we called it a night.

She lent me Firefly because I still haven't seen the ENTIRE series. I'm very excited about it. :3

So, I've got work tomorrow. Not going shopping; I'll sleep in. And despite that I'm feeling the same kind of throbbing pain in my jaw that I felt after AnimeNEXT -- and I don't want to go through another episode like that EVER AGAIN if I can help it -- today was a good day. ^_^

ALSO ALSO ALSO Erica posted our video from Sunday. Check it out! Look how far we've come along!! ♥
