What was that about being productive? :[
Nov. 14th, 2008 09:50 pmI woke up at 7:37 this morning. >.o I went back to sleep.
When I came to at a more reasonable hour for a day off, around eleven-thirty, I think, I got up and dressed and washed some clothes. Hurray, on schedule! I started to get everything laid out for my next cosplay project: Relm. Apparently, the cheap-o cape that I bought for Yuki is not much more than a semi-circle with a meter's radius. No seams in it at all! That makes things easy. The fabric that I have is more than a meter wide, so, BASICALLY, all I have to do is cut out the half-circles, sew 'em together, and boom. I'm halfway done. More or less.
And I would get on it, too, if it weren't foryou meddling kids my dog passing back and forth through the space where I was working for NO REASON. I love my dog, but if she attempted to trod all over my fabric ONE MORE TIME.... So that didn't get done.
By the time I corralled Noel away from the living room, Mom came home. That, of course, meant she was going to set up camp on "her" couch in front of "her" TV, and not move for the next seven hours. I wasn't going to get any work done, so I packed up. With nothing to do, I begrudingly worked on my game some more after I finished putting my last bits of laundry away. SIGH. I DON'T cosplay in the winter, and I need to rememdy that!I-Con is only five months away!
At least tomorrow's Saturday and Mom's going to visit Gramma, so she'll be gone. Of course, I'm not sure how much work I'm going to get done before Phill shows up (he texted me at ONE-TWENTY-THREE THIS MORNING wondering what my schedule was like for tomorrow. I might as well stop talking altogether, since people don't listen to me when I do). I want to get the pieces cut and pinned, at least, so I'll have something to do on the train. I beat my games, so. Yeah.
It came up twice in conversation this week, most likely because of my current AIM status ("Anime!Milhouse is a jerk!"), but I'm gonna go continue being unproductive and rewatch all of YGO:TAS. This is a FANTASTIC IDEA, kinda like the time I did a Robot Chicken marathon. :D
