It's official: Relm is underway.

I got the first seam on her pants done tonight, so it's started. And it looks pretty darn good with the piping, if I do say so myself (first time I'm doing this, too. Oh, cosplay. How much you've taught me! ♥). I somehow found the feathers I'll need, but not the clasp-brooch-thing (well, not without spending ten bucks. LOL NO.), and I haven't settled on the fabric that I'm using for her top (what shade of green? patterned or not?), so I'm saving that for last. 'Sides, I've got until April. (Famous last words, right there.) I can't wait to do the portraits! There'll be a real progress post next Monday, once I get some actual work done. I fully expect to have a new pair of pants by then. :D

Other than that, today was pretty unproductive. I spent way more time that I'd've liked to wandering through trim stores looking for the clasp-brooch-thing, and in desperation, I might search Jamaica Ave. on Friday. Or keep my eyes open for cheap jewelry hawkers in the street.
