Augh, headache.
Feb. 22nd, 2009 12:49 amI had a slight headache from having slept too much (thanks, FF9 OST insert), and the headache got worse on my way to work when I had yet another damn moment. I calmed down a bit while I worked with Kathleen, but once she was gone, I couldn't bring myself to get any work done (which I feel awful about). I wound up calling Alex and Michele and Mom for help, but they only worked a little bit. At least the customers thought I was "just" sick and didn't shy away from me like they usually do.
Sick in the head, perhaps, as I did something that I probably shouldn't have done. Or thought about it (again), because if I had, I most certainly wouldn't be typing this right now.
Back in the frame shop, I decided to clean my glasses, since they'd gotten pretty gross. Then I decided to clean them completely -- i.e., pop the lenses, get inside the frames, and such -- and that worked sufficiently. Unfortunately, by the time I went on to the next task, it was almost seven-thirty and I hadn't eaten. Long story short, I didn't finish it.
I had tea and got to watch part of a Seeker!rerun. I was amused.
We got out past eleven. I'm not happy, cuz it's almost one-o'-fucking-clock. But! I do have the next three days off, so there'll be a little bit of work done in my room, a class attended (OH GODDESSES I NEED A PHOTOGRAPH) and perhaps an interview. My evenings are free all week (save Monday, of course), so I'm very excited. AND that means I get to go back to my Seeker!lulz next week. *giddy*
I also learned how to write the name "Mitsunaga" in kanji. Randomly.
