So this weekend was relatively boring, as I predicted, though I was afforded some surprises.

Saturday, while Mom was at Gramma's -- and I enjoyed waking up at ten in the morning -- I decided to get back to work on FF8 (I'm never going to finish that game). Theresa texted me about one in the afternoon, wondering something about FF6 (she's never going to finish that game). I called her instead of replying, because it was just faster and easier.

We wound up bullshitting for three hours. I had to turn my game off. XD It was awesome. By the end of the conversation, we decided that Seifer is a perfect Germany, Zell is Italy, and that FF8 really needs someone who could pull off Russia. D:

Hot do~~~~~~gs! ♥

Later in the evening, I got a call from WARKY, which was amazing, because I haven't heard from him since April. His phone blew up -- in addition to other things -- and that resulted in no one being able to contact him, really, for six weeks. We spoke for a little more than an hour before his phone started to die, but there's still a lot of catching up we have to do. He has to go into detail with all the stuff that happened (never a dull moment with that one), and I still have to seek advice for what I was originally calling him for all those weeks ago. Funnily.

Sunday morning, I called Phill for his birthday, since I couldn't leave the same generic wish he left for me on Facebook. I got his voicemail, as expected, and left a quick message, that wasn't as sincere-sounding as I meant it to be (holding in tears is hard work, man). I went back to my game in an effort to take my mind off of it.

A quarter after three, he called me back. I couldn't, and still can't, describe how surprised I was. We caught up as much as we could in fortyish minutes (he ended the call when he said his shift was ending), and it was mostly good times and unawkward. Mostly. There were still gaps of silence where we didn't really know what to say, and we even did that thing where we both tried to end the silence at the same time. "You first." "No, go ahead." Augh. XD

I did say it was mostly unawkward.

All in all, it was a pleasant conversation, and one I was very glad to have. My only complaint -- because you know there has to be one -- is that I had to wait so long for it.

Yesterday, I just kinda cleaned my room. Made a little progress, but I'm running out of boxes again. Heading to Home Depot after work today (if I'm not playing MtG) to try and find my favorite color so I can put it on my walls. Wallpaper's coming down this week or next, then painting and furniture. @_@

Today, I had a half hour to spare after I got ready for work, so I decided to play some Tetris. Nothing earth-shattering. However, I sneezed. My nose has been runny/stuffy since, which is NOT conducive to thinking, which is what I NEED to be doing now instead of playing with the internet, because I've got a project due, oh, THURSDAY. This ... is going to fail. XD

BTW, if anyone knows of a school like Baruch (15K students, 2/3 of which are xfers; an urban campus with small or no res life; school with many adult and/or part-time students), anywhere in the country, you could let me know which ones, and that'd be super. :D
Edit, 16:18 - OMG FACEBOOK! I'm a dumbass. Thank you, everyone, for going to different schools. ♥ (But still, if you have any suggestions, they're welcome.)

I have a headache from sniffling. :/

Edit, 13:11 - Here, have a meme. The open Notepad window is distracting me from work. XD )
