LOL YOU'RE FUNNY
Aug. 12th, 2009 05:23 pmParadise☆Peach, as Erica said, is rather ballsy.
They messaged us this afternoon, wondering if they could perform with us at NYAF. I'll wait for you to finish laughing.
...
Okay. But yeah, they actually asked that. I sent out an e-mail to the いちs (ichis), not outright saying no, of course -- my peers did that for me -- but gently suggesting the possibility of enlisting their aid for a demonstration. It was shot down.
Understandably so, as NYAF invited only us, and we're not doing a group discussion panel! Furthermore, we don't know what they would do to the integrity of the show. And it's just plain rude. We didn't ask if we could crash their performance at NEXT. We totally meant to show up (and would have, were we not stuck at cosplay judging), but we wouldn't have asked to dance WITH them.
That said, we do openly invite everyone who wants to dance along with us to take it to the back of the crowd so they don't obstruct anyone's view with flailing arms and twisting bodies. They're going to have to be satisfied with that.
I do feel like stepping my game up a notch now, though.
