OMG. EVERYONE.
Sep. 13th, 2009 12:02 amHoly shit, it was like my ENTIRE family showed up.
Of my seven aunts and uncles, six showed up. Of my cousins, Michelle, Melissa, Alvin, and Cyrita were here. Of course, Michelle and Alvin's children were here, too. Grandma was here, and so was Little Hector, his mother, and my uncles' wives. And then my mom's cousin Isita showed up along with her son and his daughter (Isita is Tia Aida's daughter; Tia Aida passed away recently). Then there was my mom, my brother's girlfriend, me, and Noel.
Twenty-three people and one dog.
And it was delightfully noisy and hispanic and ... augh! I love it! So much food that's so gross and bad for me but I eat it because I let myself be ethnic. XD Acapurria, blood sausage, apple.... pie.... >.>;; lol Arroz con EVERYTHING.... *_*
I don't know what happened to the pictures, though. I'll probably not see them for ten years. XD Either way, it was a good day, and there was only one instance of "So how's your boyfriend?" from which Alvin very deftly changed the subject before I got too frustrated and weepy. :D
I spent a good chunk of the evening playing with Annie. She's kind of adorable. I taught her how to headbang. XD
Practice tomorrow! It'd be nice to know what time to get there....
