A good thing. Again, the end result was less than desired, and the whole experience was so drawn-out and mind-numbing that I considered a premature departure for the first time in my life. That's some serious shit. Anyway.
Loneliness somewhat dissipated, thanks for your e-hugs, everyone. Even still... it lingers. Perhaps, Olua, I just miss the gang. XD Sad how they're some of my dearest friends!
((Edit, 0103: THIS. OH MY FUCKING GOD THIIIIIIS.))
Stef, if you still read my journal, I had a thought this morning. Y'know those buttons you sell at cons? (Don't kill me but I think) Hetalia would adapt really well to your style. And naturally, I'd buy the whole set and pimp them on my messenger bag. All 151 of them. Wait, that's PKMN. Whatever.
Work has been uninteresting and boring the past couple of weeks. Someone's leaving now, though, so I'm getting trained on one of the things he used to do. It'll take a total of twelve hours, which is less than fun, but two of the hours are on Monday. Y'know, my day off, the day I get to sleep in and do laundry and that's it. Monday, the day AFTER A CON. At ten o'clock. I will be the unhappiest of campers. I've also got a table to man for about two hours every day for the next week, too. That's how work is, everything comes in fits and bursts, so when I have nothing to do, I have NOTHING to do, but when I have something, it all comes down on me at once. Such is life. But I still love my job to pieces, and can never go back to retail now that I've had a taste of this thing called "respect."
That's all I need to make me happy, it seems. That and a good book. I'm about fifty pages off from finishing Ender in Exile, and I'm wondering what the hell I should read next. And I kinda don't wanna turn away from the Enderverse (even though I have no choice) because I've fallen so hard in love with him. You don't deserve him, Novinha. Not at all. Harumph. XD
Not much else to say. I could wish a happy birthday to a couple of people who don't read this journal. I could hope that one of my friends doesn't have the cancers. I could hope that everything goes well what-is-technically-tomorrow. (OMFG TOMORROW)
Kiera's taking pictures, BTW, because it relates to her thesis, so I think this is awesome, of course.
Beer and allergy meds make me so drowsy....
