Oct. 9th, 2009 04:17 pmI wish writing them in Japanese were as easy as writing them in English! A few sentences on my simple day Wednesday took an HOUR to figure out. Granted, some of that hour was spent looking up the words and figuring out if they were -u verbs or -ru verbs (apparently, -u are "group one" and -ru are "group two" but we never learned it that way with Nagase-sensei, so I'm always confused when that shit comes up in class at TJS) to get the correct plain past tense. But I was able to throw my baseball-watching marathon in there, so all is well. Yakyuu ga da~~~isuki!
(Speaking of baseball, the Dodgers came back to win in the 9th, HELL YEAH! The Rockies also won, but the Red Sox lost. D: Only AL games going on tonight, go Sox and Twins!)
Work today was pretty simple, too. Little Jimmy and I spent an hour brainstorming for the layout of a page, and then another two hours trying to make it work. I figured it out, but we have the horrible feeling that it'll be shot down on Wednesday (our next meeting re: the website).
Did my homework, now I have to study. Got plenty of time. Seto threw -- literally threw -- a transfer application at me. :/ Okay, okay, I'll be attending the university in the spring, but can I at least get the application fee waived? I mean, I freakin' WORK here. D:
I feel like someone punched me in the gut. I wish I didn't have to go to class tonight. But! Tomorrow is the meet, and it looks like it'll be a nice day~ Sunday is Six Flags with Alex, and Monday I'm gonna visit Lu.
Such is life. ... I suddenly remembered I sang some of the songs I learned in French class the other night for no reason other than ... I was happy. o_o;
