Laura, you're not the only one who has it.

Granted, I'd be more comfortable if I drove on a regular basis, but I live where I live, and it's more often than not impractical (for me) to have a car. I was totally cool with it when I would drive on a regular basis, because, well, I drove at least once a week. Going to new, distant places was exciting, because I could go whenever and I could go myself, and I could see how much I'd improved (or hadn't). Not so anymore. And Cassie and Justin are getting married today (YAY~~~), and as the wedding and reception are in two different places that are NOT within walking distance of one another, all the way out on Long Island, and I'm going alone, I have to drive. Eep. Man, why can't I go to just the reception? The LIRR stops RIGHT THERE!

Once I get going, I'll be fine (but I haven't driven on the LIE in forever). And, coming back, even though it'll be late, I'll be a little more relaxed, because I'd've driven earlier. But the next ... hour and a half, where I'm not in the car yet? Eep.

Going short distances, say, dropping someone off at the train station (three miles round trip), that's not so bad. And it's in my neighborhood. The LIE... I'm terrified. XD Eep.

At least I've got a CD to listen to to calm me down. :::loser:::
