Four and a half months!
Oct. 19th, 2009 01:33 pmDominic's glee does not nearly express how happy I am, for after four and a half long months,
I can't tell if I'm crying because I'm happy or because there's dust in my eyes, but I am! Oh, joyous day! To have intarwebs in my bedroom again (well, I never stopped, actually), and a compy for my own use, ah, 'tis truly wonderful! Even though I'd misplaced the paper where I wrote everything on (i.e., "this wire connects to this wire!"), it was pretty easy to figure out. :O Everything gets power, everything goes to the motherboard. I got the basics right. I've even got sound, so I know I did that correctly!
Go easy on me, I never put a computer together before. The most I've ever done is replace my mouse. Oooooh. 9_9
BUT THE POINT IS THAT FRANKIE IS BACKfor how long, I don't know. It's definitely new compy/lappy time AND I AM AWESOME (and so is Guillermo, because it was his old compy we chopped up for parts). Nerdy!Edit: I'm considering renaming Frankie as Olhado. XDDDD [/ender's game]
First order of business: start up my iTunes and get some music up in hurrrr. ... Right after I wipe down the keyboard and wash my hands because MAN there's a lot of dust here.
