Okay, I'm not fazed by "odd" languages taught at schools anymore. Granted, in junior high school, options were limited to FRENCH OR SPANISH and everything else was too exotic. I thought taking Latin or Greek in high school was insane and cool and would up the hell out of my nerdity quotient, but I'd already had the year of French, so I stuck with. After getting to college, I see that Portuguese and Arabic are run-of-the-mill, now. Hindi? That's a little more out there, but a few CUNYs offer it.

But Ukrainian? Yoruba?! WTF Hunter, ILU. XD I don't think anything is going to top that one. :D

Edit, 10:48 - Okay, Lehman offers Yoruba, too, along with Irish. ... I love CUNY, now. Officially.

P.S., I'm terrible for being late but I was hoping I'd have something more substantial to post yesterday. Either way, hope everyone had a good Veterans Day-slash-Remembrance Day-slash-whatever you call the 11th of November. :::hugged a vet. sure, it was her dad, but who's counting?:::
