Travelling.
Nov. 29th, 2009 02:45 amWait. Wait.
So, you don't need* a passport to leave the U.S. if you go to Canada by car, say, but you need one to get back in? What?! Fuck, I must be sleepy and not reading this site correctly.
*This site says that passports are required for air travel in both directions, and Canada to the U.S. by land or sea. But it only says that they're "strongly recommended" at any border crossing. I mean, I'd have one anyway -- no, I don't have a passport, shut up, I haven't even flown in two yearsthank goodness -- but, y'know. Hypothetically.
One day, I'd like to go to Canada for realsies; I didn't see much of it at all the first time I went, and I couldn't even enjoy the Falls because I was half-asleep! Canada, several European countries (don't know which though. Suggestions? :D), and then end my journey around the world with a stop in the Dealer's Room, I mean, Japan, hit up Australia, then Hawaii (because when the hell else am I gonna pass by Hawaii?!) before coming home. Ooh, and Puerto Rico! I need to go back to Puerto Rico! And the rest of the Caribbean! *_* Not sure where I'd go in South America or the rest of Asia, though....
And I definitely have to see thirty games intwenty-nine thirty parks in one season. Maybe that'll kick off my adventure into Canada?
As for the rest of today, it was a total bust. Winter must have arrived while I wasn't looking because I've taken to all but hibernating this weekend! I'm getting about twelve to fifteen hours of sleep, not brought on by exhaustion, depression, or turkey. I'm just ... sleeping. (Truth to tell, I fall asleep a LOT more, faster, and easier when it's cold. I think I might actually be hibernating. XD) Needless to say, then, the wallpaper didn't come down, and I have to get to it on Monday. It's kind of a blessing; the walls are pepto-pink underneath. :::makes a face:::
Greetings to all my lovely new readers from the friending meme! â„ I hope you can find a small shred of entertainment in my journal!
