Work today was more of the same: working on the cards for another seven hours. Sharon said that as of yesterday, the count was about 7,000, so with four of us doing about five hundred a day, plus a little extra help, it should be OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAND tonight. At this pace, we'll be done Thursday afternoon, Goddesses willing. I hope they will.
After work, I decided to head out to Michaels to buy crap. I got a decorating tip so I don't fuck up future cookies, and some clear vanilla extract, so I can flavor the icing without turning it brown. :::determined!::: I don't know when I'll be making cookies again, but I think I have to. The cookies were too awesome at the end of the day. And I can only assume the frosting will be FAR easier with the decorating tip. I also bought some stickers.
I caught Sandy and we caught up (she's doing well but didn't mention some of the unpleasantness I heard from the rumor mill the last time I was around. Suspicious), which was great. I helped her help a customer -- why do I still remember how to do this shit, lol -- and she rang me up in gratitude. :D And then Rosie started yelling at her -- SHE HAD NO CUSTOMERS -- so I decided to take my leave. Working, slowly, on a very simple, non-sewing cosplay project for the spring. I've got most of the materials, but as I can't find the proper colors, it seems I'm going to have another adventure with dyeing stuff one day. Yippie?
And... now I'm here. Really, there's not much for me to talk about. At least everyone liked MY AWESOME KOALA HAT (but why are plain hockey jerseys $80? ._.;).
Also, since LJ's FAQ lies, does anyone know how to search LJ entries by more than one tag? The FAQ says to separate them with just a comma, but that doesn't seem to be working.
