So, we all remember Schoolhouse Rock, yes? Most of us? Good.

I was looking up references for my paper (it's about grammar. Yeah, I got to reference "Conjunction Junction" in my paper), and I found this gem.

*dodges airborne objects*

All kidding aside, I'm sick of this paper, and my Bag o' Tricks is empty. I used Strong Bad, Schoolhouse Rock, and three different editions of the same book as sources. I've formatted with inch-and-a-quarter margins, double spaces between sentences, footnotes everywhere, and a couple of blockquotes.

I've been at this all day, and I've only got half the requisite five pages. ._. Lame.

Edit, 4:55 AM - Almost done, just have to bullshit another paragraph or two into a conclusion. Here are the nerdy things I've referenced and cited:

•Eats, Shoots & Leaves. Three times.
•Ender's Game
•Schoolhouse Rock
•Hamlet
•Strong Bad Email
•So help me, I will get an xkcd reference somewhere in this thing! (I'm thinkin' about ass-car.)

Thank you, Internet. I get to go home in twelve hours! XD *loads up on coffee*

It's done! It's a hair under five pages (like 4 2/3) but I don't care because it's done! (FTR, I couldn't get xkcd in there because I just wanted to bullshit my conclusion and finish. Next time, if I don't procrastinate.)

Plans for when I get home: COLLAPSE. Sleep until 9 because I need a nap like WHOA (hopefully, I'll be tired by then. You know when you're so tired you don't feel tired anymore? I got there hours ago). Wake up, eat, catch a game, catch up on the scores of the others, and go back to sleep when said game is over.

I'll do the SakuMatsu post (and my laundry) eventually. :/ I still need to come back up from it.

Saku Matsu can effectively be broken into three parts: the picnic, the photoshoot, and the show.

Had no idea that was so long. *snip* )

Yesterday was entirely uninteresting. I slept until damn near four in the afternoon -- I was exhausted and stressed, okay?! -- but I had a paper to write, so I got on that. Distracted by hockey for a little bit. Montreal won, which was yay. And then I was writing. And staying awake.

ALL. NIGHT.

I didn't even manage to finish before I left for work this morning (almost, though). Re-typed by hand because the formatting on the Open Office file was weird, and finished it -- between actual work -- did up the bibliography, and gave it a title page. Twenty-four hours after I'd started, I was done. Problem was, because I'd been awake all of those twenty-four hours, I was a real zombie. And people are dumb, with the exception of one (who guessed it right away, bless her), they all thought I was sick, but none of them asked what was wrong with me, really.

"GOOD MORNING EVERYONE :D" someone said.
"m'n'." Vowels were not in my Bag o' Tricks at nine-thirty. Mumbles were.
"WHAT'S WRONG? :D"
"'m t'r'd." 'n' I d'n' kn' wh'r' m'wif' 's.
"BUT IT'S ONLY MONDAY. :D"
"mmm." REALLY IS IT? I HAD NO CLUE. 9_9
"OH SO YOU HAD A GOOD WEEKEND :D"
"no. i d'n'." Because I really didn't. And that "no" took, like, all my energy. It was really bad.
"OH. ... WELL FEEL BETTER :DDDD"
"please fuck off" No, but take a hint, for serious. I look like death first thing on a Monday and you're going to make small talk with me? :/

I still don't know how I made it through the day, but I was happy to get out of there. The minute I got home, I changed, jumped into bed, and was passed out for three hours (Mets and Canucks both lost, but at least the Flyers did, too). I've been back in the land of the living for two, and I feel better, but it's not enough. As such, I'mma grab a snack, put my things together for tomorrow, and head back to bed.

Watch, I won't even get called on to read my paper after all that. XD
