Harry Freakin' Potter!
Nov. 19th, 2010 11:33 pmLOL Sorry about that lame excuse for a post yesterday.
The Harry Potter movie was pretty awesome. Obviously, I'm not going to share details here, but I loved one scene in particular towards the middle, because it was so happy, and my eyes did sweat at the end. Es and I were the only cosplayers in the theatre, and I don't have pictures -- I will tomorrow -- but we were still cute. As for the pictures I did take, the usual dark, grainy cellphone ones, they're mostly signs:
Standard issue for the theatres, I suppose.
This one caught my attention first. It says Honeyduke's on the banner.
No Apparating. It would have been a nice touch to change the graphic, but I don't think they can do that.
Ginny (left) and Platform 9 3/4. Ginny, Ron, Harry, and Hermione later gave us a warning about filming in the theatre. I wasn't paying attention, and just wanted them to break out into four-part harmony. Oh! And I have a picture of it on my camera (which I can't find at the moment), but someone came around with a snack cart and started calling "AAAAAANYTHING FROM THE TROLLEY?" before the movie started. Genius, and my favorite part until the very end.
The Burrow, Hogwarts, and The Ministry.
Wizards and Witches. Had to go to the bathroom after the movie, of course. It was almost three in the morning.
The mirrors were written on. And if you can't see it, you should know what it says anyway: The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware.
One of the theatre employees walked in while I was washing my hands, and I complimented her on a job very well-done. I asked if there was anything I missed, and she said I got it all. Hurray! \o/ In short, the theatre at Rockville Centre is awesome. I hope Roosevelt Field has some Easter eggs, too. I will do my best not to let my eyes sweat again.
( And two days' worth of meme for a downer. )
( And that rainbow meme for funsies. )
