Man, it's been a couple of days.

loveanime18 quite a bit from being on the ice a lot, and through mutual hatred of the Islanders (and Mario, coincidentally an Islanders fan). We also are absolutely giddy about how we get to tell everyone off at the next public meetup because no one listens to nice people and the two of us are kinda scary. XD
Monday: damned if I remember what happened Monday. Mom made some pretty good chili, though. And eggnog and coquito, because she's a goddamn lush. She asked me if I'd had some, and I said that I did (because there was no soda), but I wasn't a fan because it was too strong for me and I could taste the alcohol; it wasn't sweet enough. She was surprised and said she didn't think she had enough rum in it. Oh, Mom.Then again, I don't drink enough liquor to know for sure but I'm probably a pussy.
Tuesday: started the morning watching the eclipse, and it was pretty cool. I've seen a couple of lunar eclipses before, but I can't remember the moon ever getting quite that dark. It was pretty scary, but really cool! As for work, I got to go in late (hurray, timing!) and it was my first orientation of the semester, and I had to do it without Jimmy (he had two finals). Unfortunately for me, we're working with a whole new setup this time around, and I didn't know any of it, which blows. The next orientation's not until the fourth, so, yay: two weeks.
Today: I pretty much just BSed all day at work. There wasn't much of anything for me to do. Usual Suspect M continues to get on my nerves, but that's another post. I got to work before nine o'clock. What the fuck, stars and planets, please continue to align yourselves. *bow bow bow*
_lysia_ and paulnolan, I got your cards, thank you so much! ♥ crescent_dreams, I got yours too, but the envelope was torn to hell when I got it. D: There were two stamps on the envelope and a scrap of plastic inside; I really hope you only sent the candy cane because I didn't receive anything else. D: (Cue my distrust of the USPS slowly growing and making me really happy I went to fucking Maryland just to fetch my wallet instead of having it sent! It's a fucking candy cane, you asses.)
