I figured out why I don't like Christmas a couple of days ago: the magic's gone. I mean, I will never be like this kid or this guy ever again. I just want something that makes me cheer, jump up and down like an idiot, and hug my mom, is that so much to ask? :'( (It's pretty easy, too, just get me a Mets something-or-other, and it's more or less guaranteed to happen, right, Laura? XD) But at least now I can tolerate Christmas music, whereas two three years ago, I'd snap someone's neck....

Posting before the rest of this horrible day makes me any more bitter. ... On the bright side, hanging out with friends Sunday and Monday is a good thing, eh?
