Unlucky seven(th of January).

Not quite Friday the Thirteenth, but I still had an extraordinary amount of bad luck today. Augh, so frustrating.

First the good news, though: even though MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF SNOW were predicted for the area, nothing happened. The city's so warm that nine times out of ten when a lot of snow is predicted, it doesn't turn out to be anything. The storm two weeks ago just happened to be the lucky one, so it's safe enough to say that we're good for the rest of the winter. It started much later and ended much earlier than everyone thought it would, though about eleven o'clock it was hard enough to make people stop, stare through the windows and go "Ooooooooh!"

( The Universe likes to play with us all sometimes. Today was my turn. )

Aaaaaand now the internet stream isn't working. This day just continues to get awesomer. XD I have wine. I need this drink.

Edit: Rangers won 3-2 in the shootout; Vancouver's up three in the second. Things are looking up.
