Time out.

Taking a break from the near-non-stop sewing going on this weekend.

My jacket's as far along as I can get it for now. I don't have shoulder pads and I don't seem to have the hooks and eyes I swear came in the awesome cosplay package, but I also need to figure out how to re-fit linings and facings since I modified the pattern and am not depending on those fucked up instructions. It looks pretty boss, though, not gonna lie.

Esmeralda's dress, well, that's coming along better. She cut out the pieces last night but has been having machine trouble all day. She got tired, and her back was starting to hurt so I sent her to bed for a nap while I work on it. HOLY SHIT, this thing is so easy. I don't have a hook and eye or a zipper for her, either, but if it weren't for her having to be at work in the morning, I'd have it tonight. I'm awesome.

In the meantime, I've fallen so hard in love with this man, and also, I really want some meat salad.

Laura's coming tomorrow for dansu, so no sewing then. Also, it's REALLY FUCKING COLD.
