I've just been watching the news.

I haven't said much about what's been going on over the weekend, but everything I try to write sounds retarded, and I know I have to talk about it before I go back to my mundane bullshit, otherwise I look insensitive. I'm not insensitive, I just have horrible, chronic Footinmouth Disease, and I really don't want to say something I'm going to kick myself for twenty minutes later. I spent the weekend doing the usual sleep-forever thing, and watching and reading the news, breaking my F5 button on reddit, mostly that last one.

I posted a brief message on ichiP!'s YouTube -- not that many people will see it, lol -- asking that people donate time, money, or blood to the Red Cross if they can. Please, please, please do this. There are also several LJ communities that are doing things, but don't forget that there's stuff happening in other countries, too, not just Japan. Spread the love out.

I also discovered that there's an "event dates" tab on YouTube, and I made use of that immediately. The profile section looks that much cleaner, now that the dates are listed separately. I gave ichiP! a username on Facebook, so now it's this instead of that weird long string of crap that YT couldn't handle before, but it's one character too long for YT's liking and so the link remains broken. *facepalm*
