Progress, even though it's not Monday

It's a little premature to say so, but my new ichiP! dress doesn't look so bad. I cut out and sewed the blue pieces yesterday, and sewed the dress and the bow (though I'm sure it's held together by magic and nothing less). I forgot the belt loops, so I'll do those today, along with the black for the sleeves, zipper, and neckline. After that, there won't be much else to do, so that's good.

As for how it fits? It's big. Everywhere. I made it a little longer than Laura's on purpose, because I can't stand skirts that short, but instead of the three (8 cm) I allowed, it's somehow six (15 cm)? I added extra inches (maybe two) to the waist because Laura is TINY, but now it's not form-fitting at all, and it ought to be. WHAT. LAURA, COME BACK FROM EUROPE, I CAN'T DO THIS. D:>

Yeah, I'm gonna sleep on it a little more. Mom's at Gramma's, so she won't be home for another eight hours or so. I have time. ... But I should put the fabric in the wash now because it's got Mio-hair all over it. :[

SO IT'S OFFICIAL

Yeah, these dresses aren't gonna get done. I couldn't cut pieces today because there's no natural light due to rain, and my dad is sick and on the couch in the living room instead of bed where he belongs (so I can't turn on the lights there). I'm looking at more of the same tomorrow and Monday, and there's not enough light/space/clean-ness to work anywhere else in the house.

After Monday is three days of work, then Anime Boston. Oh, then three more days of work and another convention.

So, yeah, it's not happening.

I'm just a *little* fucking pissed off right now.
