I really should not continue to be amazed. *facepalm.jpg*

It seems like every time I have a breakdown at work, they just shift me over to something else. I have a breakdown on phone center, they make me do front desk. I have a breakdown at front desk, they make me do phone center. So guess who's got to answer phones again. At least it's just an hour a week and not immediately before I leave (I'll hate it by tomorrow, watch).

But, like, seriously, how short are their memory capacities? The cycle is every six months. That's not that long! How do you forget when someone sits down on the floor bawling and can't be consoled?! Then again, if I'm not on F's and D's asses about things, they never help me. Hell, they even vanish. I haven't seen F all day, and I kinda need her to sign my timesheet so I can get paid.

On the other hand, all the work that I'd left for myself over the weekend got done in my absence. I have nothing to do anymore. OH WELL I guess I'll just sit here and get paid for working on Hetalia Day.

It's my brother's birthday.

My grandmother's in the hospital and Mom went to the city and I don't know what's wrong, so I sure as hell wasn't gonna tell Matthew when I called him. I'm nervous. My grandmother's okay! It was something minor, she's out of the hospital now. Nice to find that out from my cousin on the other side of the country instead of my mom on the other side of the city.

My neighbor's tree didn't entirely fall, but it split almost clean in half. What I thought was the entire tree -- because my view was still blocked until I actually went over there -- was one giant limb. Still sucks, but not as bad as what happened on the next block:



Impressive. It took up some of the sidewalk, but otherwise missed all property, even a car, and only downed a few lines. Don't know when the city'll try to start removing it. But damn that sucks. I loved all the shade from the trees on that block, and now there's less of it.

All this within twenty minutes. I don't even.

At least ichiP! made headway with our shit. BBL drowning sorrows in that game of ALttP I started yesterday (I'm playing on an emulator! I wonder how many times I'm gonna die (I keep hitting the wrong keys, like, I'll mean to charge my sword and I'll just run across the room, lol). XD And HOLY SHIT have I forgotten a lot of what is where!)
