Ho-hum.

Got a really weird dizzy spell around two this afternoon (another earthquake? lol), and it lasted all the way home, even through the nap on the train. Obviously, I had decided not to go to the game, which was okay, because they lost 3-2 again (no errors on David's part this time, though).

I also went yarn-shopping, since I find myself needing to make a scarf I don't have colors for. I found the perfect color but it was $8 for just a few ounces. Real yarn is expensive. ._.; Gonna go cheap yarn-hunting this weekend.

I got home, Dad bought us ice cream, I ate it and slept. Woke up a few hours later feeling better, so I guess that's good. Since then, I've just been catching up on stuff on the internet, and continuing to set things up for next month as much as I can. Not terribly much to say, just a a Tuesday (though it feels like Wednesday, since I went out yesterday).

Tomorrow, though: I'll have something to say, and hopefully lots of good something.

When your faith in your coworkers as people is restored when you see evidence of their understanding of cross-cancellation.

...that was an awkward sentence. Let's try again.

My faith in M, as a person, has been restored, because I have evidence before me that shows she understands how cross-cancellation works. That's bad.

why yes i judge people based on basic math competency shut up i know it's a problem

What disappoints me, though, is that she can't convert improper fractions in her head. I don't know, maybe she just wrote it down because she was multiplying straight across without thinking? Oh, but still.

shut up i know shut up
