Trying to figure out where I went wrong.
Sep. 20th, 2011 03:04 amOkay, so, like.
I got up just before noon. Brushed my teeth, grabbed a bite, got all the stuff for the messenger bag together. Swept the living room floor (because it's the only place in the house where I have space to lay out fabric, que triste), and started setting up the pieces. Yesterday's Mets game, that I missed, was on encore because the Mets had off today, so I put that on for background noise. That was one-thirty.
I wasted over and hour and a half setting up?!
By the time the pieces were all cut out, the game was over, so just before four-thirty. Granted, I took a few looks at the game (they won, by the way, 7-5 against Atlanta, winning the season series) because it kept going back and forth. And I had to iron that very stubborn canvas as well as I could. And I had to pin all the pattern pieces down and add seam allowances. But three hours? For eleven pieces?
I had to bring everything upstairs because Mom, but I got back to work immediately, working on the pockets. About five-thirty -- a whole hour later, and all I got done was the pockets! -- the new caulk on the bathtub was deemed dry, so I could finally take a shower and wash my hair (on account of being sick Saturday night, I slept until about 1:00 yesterday. i.e., I didn't have to wait that much longer than usual for a shower). That took an hour. Six-thirty.
Dinner. ... and I'm missing about 90 minutes because it was around eight when I realized I hadn't done any dance practice all day. And the pockets for the bag? Mostly unfinished. I'm trying to add piping now, and it's going very slowly. ... How is it that I'm constantly doing things, but none of it ever gets done? ._.
( A football meme I stole from Caz and turned into a baseball meme. :D )
Hey, check out this fail!commercial for NYCC. If this were all I had to base my decision of going or not on, I so wouldn't. XD
No, I don't know how I'm still awake. I have to force myself to sleep soon.
