Actually, the trip wasn't so bad. I had music and a book on the way over, as I said, and that really did keep me busy. Once we got to Jazmin's mom's house, I was a bit distracted by football. Turned out I watched football nearly the entire day.
Dinner itself was okay, but not an amazing affair. We went from Jazmin's mom's house in ... somewhereinpennsylvania, to her aunt's house in Allentown. There wasn't a table, just sort of a buffet thing in the kitchen. At least I had a large cup of wine, and I got to see my brother. *shrug*
The way home was the scariest part. In addition to leaving Allentown around 9:30 (which led to my estimate of not gettingh ome before midnight), Dad... is a very scary driver. He's always tailgated, but now he's added veering and not braking to his repertoire. At night. With no brights on on those country roads. Conclusion: my dad's car doesn't have enough Jesus bars, and I was actually praying on the way home that I didn't die. Walked in the door at midnight.
Not much happening today, but I'm at Es' now, currently watching Robin Hood: Men in Tights. :D Earlier, it was the Rangers game, and they started with a 3-0 lead in the second. They went on to win 6-3, and three of our goals got guys out of the One Goal Club, so that's good (I just wish Dubi had been one of them. ;A;).
22. Favorite advertisement/commercial. Geez, I listen to Canucks Radio so much, I feel like I should try to enter the sweepstakes for a $100 gift card to Canadian Tire, or support some of the other businesses they advertise. And then I remember they're 2500 miles away....
OH so it's worth mentioning that a) I had a dream with Alex and
gohstar and we were in St. Louis even though she lives in Kansas, wtf; b) recurring dreams suck (auuuuugh the dude at the game attacking me); and c) ichiPeach! settled on Munasawagi and on our parts. I get to be Miyabi (apparently, Melissa and I have the same tastes. :Db).
