Writer's Block: Tough Choices

Family, no contest. ... That wasn't so tough, LJ.
So after ice skating was some massive hanging out with people I hadn't seen in a good long while: Cat, Racquel, a few others, and new friends! :D We were in that plaza on 41st St. near Bryant Park until eight o'clock or so. Racquel was cosplaying Brazil and she's part Brazilian to boot, so she was all Luciano out the ass and it was adorable. I told her and Cat about the Latin Hetalia profiles, and I promised to let them know about it. Only problems are that they're in Spanish, which isn't that big of a deal, since I can translate (and Google the spots where I get stuck), and that they're all images, which means before I can translate, I have to copy them out. Copying them out is hard because not only are there four pages, but the print is tiny and the images are .jpgs so it's hard to see sometimes, especially when my vocabulary is too limited to let me know which words are and aren't misspelled or misaccented! I'm almost done, though.
The other weekend project was downloading a Homestuck album for Theresa. I'm not a fan of Homestuck, but since she didn't know how to share from Bandcamp or look at source code on a Mac (I guessed cmd+u, but that didn't work. Oh well), and I had nothing better to do.... Meh. She and Esmeralda were both surprised to discover last night that the other likes Homestuck, and now they're plotting to get me to read it somehow. All this talk about Dave and what a douche he is makes me wanna give it another try, NGL.
The Rangers, at home but wearing their Classic jerseys, beat the Flyers yesterday, 5-2. MDZ netted the GW, Dubi got a goal after that, and Rusty sank an empty-netter from the center ice with less than eighty seconds to go. And as awesome as that is, here's the kicker: the Rangers have won all four games against the Flyers this season (two to go, so we win the season series), and six straight against them. That's pretty damn awesome: they can't beat us.
Boston wasn't playing tonight, so the Rangers stay at three points up (the East is pretty tight, with just five points between 4th and 8th, and one point between 3rd place Florida and 9th place Washington, who play each other tomorrow), and Detroit lost to Phoenix today, so the Rangers stay a point back of them, and the Canucks three. Both the Rangers and Canucks play tomorrow: New York against New Jersey (and the Islanders have Philly so it's a rather incestuous division), and Vancouver in Nashville.
My comforter makes an amazing sleeping bag.
That's about it. I wish I had more crackerjack because that stuff is fucking tasty.
