My dad was supposed to have surgery on his knee yesterday, but it was cancelled for reasons that I can't remember right now. I texted Mom during the game, and she told me so, so I asked Dad what happened, but that was at damn near one in the morning, so I'm not surprised I don't remember it. But had it not been for that scheduled surgery, Dad and I could have gone to the Islanders game last night, and it could have been lots of teasingly great fun. Awww. :(

It's not terribly cold, but it's windy. I'm grateful for the "long summer" either way. :D
