I'm better!

Thursday was an absolutely gorgeous day, bright and sunny and 60 (15) degrees, and I did stuff. So I guess all I needed was a warm day? I know it's been a warm winter, but it was still winter and just because the temperature rarely went below 40 (5) doesn't mean I was okay. Point of the story: daylight helps, but I need to be warm to be happy.

So Thursday and Friday I did the things I was meaning to do for the past two weeks. It was pretty good. Hung out with the Long Islanders for a bit, watched Jolley speedrun through Resident Evil (and schooled him on a puzzle he needed to solve to advance. All my years of saving Hyrule finally paid off), inspiring me and Ricardo to do our own speedruns the next time we hang out.

Saturday was Springfest, and while I knew it was going to be a shit con, it was a free con, so there wasn't much of a reason not to go. There wasn't much to look at or buy or do, and I mostly wasted the five hours I was there in the cafeteria bullshitting. But Es and I were a perfect Argentina and Brazil (new wigs ♪~), Lea nailed fem!Muscles Glasses, friends won third place in the masquerade (that I didn't know existed until after it was over) and I have plans for everything. *scheme scheme*
