Man, I'm a lightweight. Two beers and a little bit of cold and I'm ready for bed.
Went to the Mets game tonight because they were playing the Marlins so it would be Jose Reyes' return to New York. The amount of booing was disgusting. I could hardly believe people would boo Reyes, who loved this city and this team and these fans and had given nine years of loyal and faithful (although sometimes injured) service. He won us our first batting title last year, for crying out loud! Boos every at bat, and on the plays he made. Disgusting. He went 0-for-4.
No score until the seventh: the Marlins... you know what, I don't remember. The Marlins scored in the top of the seventh, but their pitchers walked in a run in the bottom half, and then we got some hits or something in the eighth to pretty much seal up the win. My streak continues.i really need to find a way into the ranger game on thursday man
Before the game, Ricardo and I were on our way to get food, and I ran into someone I knew from All-City! He worked there, so he was able to get us free beers. Woohoo! :D I had another one not too long afterwards, and it was ridiculously cold -- 53 degrees (11) -- at game time, so my body pretty much just shut down. And now all I want to do is sleep.
The Devils won tonight as well, so that's awesome, as there will be three Game Sevens in the ECQFs, Boston/Washington tomorrow, and Rangers/Sens and Devs/Panthers on Thursday. Wheeeeeee!!
That's about it. XD I wanna pass out, oh man.
