Shit, I thought I was tired yesterday!
May. 13th, 2012 12:30 amNot terribly long after I posted yesterday, Leigh and Ricardo stopped by with a surprise for me: the Belgian waffles we were supposed to have. ♥ I had to eat it right away or the ice cream would melt, but it was very delicious and not only cheered me up, but it invigorated me. So yay! I decided to watch the Mets game since no one was around, really. Dad and David were getting ready to head up to Massachusetts on a fishing trip.
I fell asleep somewhere in the middle, but the Mets had battled back from being down 3-0 to being down 3-2. In the eighth inning, they managed to go ahead 5-3, but an error in the bottom half eventually cost them a run, and Francisco blew the save in the ninth. Mets wound up losing, 6-5.
But by then, my mom showed up with two of her sisters (and a great-niece). They got settled, I stayed up very late again somehow. They were being noisy in the morning -- mostly Annie, because she's four, and Bradley, because he's a dog -- so I lost a bit of sleep, but I managed to roll out of bed eventually and greet my family -- more had shown up in the meantime -- around two. It's my gramma's birthday today and I took lots of pictures!

Puerto Ricans know how to party, man. And there was lots of food and cake and laughing and dancing and GOD DAMMIT I love my mother's family, all hundred and fifty-one of them. And there are pleeeeeeenty of people I didn't catch in these pictures; there were forty-two loudmouths walking around the house at various points today. Most of them are gone now, and it's a lot quieter, which is good because I've got a bit of a headache. I'm gonna get to sleep soon. BUT FIRST.
