The Mets left for Toronto last night after their game with the Reds (they were down 4-0 once but wound up winning 9-4), not in hockey cosplay as I'd hoped, but just rockin' some sweaters. I feel kinda bad that I can't actually recognize most of them by sight, but I'm just going to assume the ones I can't are in the bullpen so I really don't care about them (our bullpen is disgusting, it's so sad. The Mets NEEEEEEVERRRRRR have any sort of pitching). Check it out. And, as Jason Bay's a Canucks fan (mentioned here, though he's wearing a Whalers sweater. Fucking troll-ass non-team), it's like my sports fandoms had a baby. ♥ too bad i don't like jason bay lol
Speaking of hockey, today's an off day for everyone. Rangers and Devils play Game Three tomorrow (eeeee) but the Kings and Preds played Game Three last night, and the Kings won 2-1. That puts 'em up 3-0, and makes me both nervous and nauseous. :( Kings've won eight in a row; their only loss was at the hands of the Canucks in Game Four of the WCQF.
Megan will be able to make it to the viewing party on Monday (she wants to try and bring cosplay stuff to work on and I'm like LOL NO because it's never gonna happen, man. I'm worries about shit, too, but I'm pretty resigned that it doesn't go that way)! Just waiting to hear confirmation from Jessi.
Carmen told me there's a new weeaboo stories, and I'm morbidly curious, so I'm probably going to check it out.
Last night's bachelorette party was loads of fun. I fell just short of 1000 tickets on the night, but I got a game we can play at the bar party at AnimeNEXT, so it's all worth it. :D LOL That's pretty much it, since, y'know, Dave & Busters is just food and games. Oooo, we all got pink plastic tiaras, though! As we were in Philly, I wore mine pinned to my Rangers hat. I'm still alive because I'm MAGICAL.
There's so much internet I have to catch up with this morning! @_@
