You know it's bad when you have to lean your laptop on your feet so they can stay warm. I've been under blankets for at least two hours now, with socks on, and my toes are still like ice. WINTER!
I'm incredibly lethargic today, and it came outta nowhere. I finally got a good copy of Shaun of the Dead, and I haven't seen that movie in ages, so that was the first thing I did. I couldn't be bothered to exercise until about six, though. No reason why, I just ... didn't. I'd been out of bed for hours. And dinner was super-late. Mom made a pernil but it took forever to cook, and when it was done and I'd inhaled it, it just made me drowsy. Sigh.
The exercising, since I haven't mentioned it much, is kinda going okay. I mean it is! It's been a little more than three months and I've lost two inches on my waist and one on my hips and am almost back to decent proportions! But my strength kinda comes and goes. Sometimes I'll be able to do 20 full pushups without stopping with no problem, but three days later I'll struggle to do seven or eight knee-pushups. Sometimes I can work only with five-pound weights, sometimes three, but I'm doing bicep curls with eight. I can't do more than 20 crunches without feeling like I want to die, but I can SEE my stomach muscles there and I know they're working but they're not getting better. It doesn't make any sense.
And while I don't mind getting stronger, I would like to lose some of this extra body fat I've got just hangin' around my hips. More cardio? Augh, but I can't dance for like AN HOUR SOLID every day. :|
Great. Another short entry.
