I went skating today!

It was the first skate of the season, but whoops, I need to sharpen my skates. The prices went up again, too, but fortunately, that doesn't affect me so long as they keep admission and locker use free. But there's a reason! The inside has been completely remodeled and made new: there are even brand-new lockers, so none of them are broken! And, unrelatedly, I got a full hour straight today. The ice was already marked up a fair bit when I got there, but they resurfaced after I left. Awwww yeaaaaah.

One of the skate guards saw I was wearing a Rangers shirt today. "Nice shirt," he complimented. I saw he was wearing one under his jacket, so I smiled and answered, "Thanks. You too!" So now our wedding is next week... lol.

I went to Starbucks today but, alas, it was very busy, so I didn't get a butterbeer. Drat. Perhaps tomorrow when I go to the mall to drop off my skates to get them sharpened!

The Canucks eventually lost last night in the shootout, 3-2, but the Rangers crushed Pittsburgh tonight at the Garden, 5-1. Captain came up with a goal to celebrate my engagement to shirt guy. XD
