My boss is awesome!

I figured I should just make a new post.... XD

So I'd been calling work every five minutes since nine-thirty, and I was kind of scared when I called at ten and there was still no answer. Opening late in the mall -- as we've learned the hard way, right, Huangy? -- gets you nice and fined, and that's never fun. I called just a moment ago, and Michelle finally picked up.

At first, I was a bit scared; she sounded too businesslike, but then, that's how we're supposed to sound on the phone. :::rolls eyes::: But I introduced myself, and she brightened up immediately. Whew. So I explained the nonsense about the trains, and much different than Phillip's cold, flat "Okay," she was more than understanding. She'd even got stuck in the subway herself, and had only just gotten in! I told her that I was worried my not showing up would taint her impression of me, and she told me the best thing anyone's ever told me: nature happens. Also that I shouldn't worry, blah, blah, blah, she'll see me on Sunday. She even told me to keep cool because it's hot outside! ♥

I don't think I'll have much of a problem explaining school and my odd hobbies to her. :D

To keep me busy on the sudden day off, I've got sleep to catch up on, plus laundry, plus raspberrysorbet sent me Earthbound, so I get to play that now (or any other game, but I'll give Earthbound a try. Because I have to. And I should.)

I'm also reading Velharthis from the beginning. Yay, comics.

stayed at my friensd in queens last night, right by the n/w. not working. walked 8 blocks to the r/v. not working. so we had to walk ALL the way to queensboro plaza to take the 7. and it was packed.

Yaaaay for open-minded bosses! XD My bosses kind of found out about my...hobbies....at the Fitness center by accident, and they were totally OK with it. Did I tell you one of them asked if he could have one of the Appa cell charms? (Admittedly he didn't know what it was though).
