I got snippy at work about the stupid tour photos. See, in addition to the sleigh photos, we now have Front Entrance photos for the people who go on tours. The tours are spaced at fifteen-minute intervals, but we have NO way of knowing if a tour has started or not. So we'll be on break and suddenly get bombarded by old people clammoring to see their stupid photo, only so that they won't buy it (we haven't sold many tour photos at ALL since this started on Monday). It's stupid and a waste of time, and poor Yolanda (our favorite cashier) had to sneak out to get her check cashed. It was sad. ;-; And it's a lot worse than I make it sound.
Met a bunch of new people today. There were Kat and Caroline, Mandy's Theta Phi Alpha (or is it Phi Theta?) sisters. And Mayna was back at the register to relive Yolanda. ^_^ I managed to get some writing done, too. Five notebook pages. It's not much, but it's better than nothing.
There was mroe stuff that made me feel .... I don't know. It kind of hurt my pride, my self-esteem and all that. Won't go into detail. Don't wanna bring myself down unnecessarily.
And geez, is it ever cold today! Twenty-three degrees when I came out of the train station this morning! AUGH! But now I'm home and warm. I'm gonna go finish my writing, play some OoT (yay Skulltulas!) and perhaps take a nap to tack on some hours so I don't feel like death in the morning.
One more thing: OMG YES!!!!! (And there was this dude today that came for a photo that looked quite a bit like Tim Buckley. I was all staring, lol.) Monday's VG Cats is good for fanfic authors! And today's RPGW gets you thinking about how it's possible.
