Went to an art opening in SoHo with Gen today. Haven't seen her in AGES.... and she looks good with her hair all long and grown out. And streaky! So we went into the show.... there were some interesting pieces, some weird ones. But we were in an out in an hour, so thank goodness it didn't cost us a dime. ~_^
After unsuccesfully catching a cab (they were all full and it looked like rain), we decided to hoof it to the train station to a Vietnamese place that Gen knew. It was full, though, so we settled for Thai instead. We only had dumplings and spring rolls, but they were pretty nummy.
I got a weird square-shaped mosquito bite on my forearm. It's weird.
Today was otherwise uneventful, though I got a little more of my walkthrough done.
Math tutoring at Olua's on Saturday. She failed her placement exam by ONE point, but she's gonna get a chance for a retest, so I'm going to try and cram as much of my mathness in her head as I can.
Tomorrow's spent with Nigel. W00t!
