Briefly....

My kinda-cousin Jason* sent out one of those UPDATE! mass e-mails to his friends tonight. He, well, updated us on what he's been doing. Good stuff to know, especially because I can't remember the last time I've seen Jason, which is a shame because we're so close in age and we're so close in location. He went to school at Columbia for crying out loud.... I sent him a lengthy e-mail back, summarizing me in the past five and a half years, which I'll share with you guys because I think it's an excellent summary of what you all need to know about me thus far, so if you're unclear about ANYTHING about me, read:

See, it makes sense now (I love family trees). We're not related by blood at all, but we're family nonetheless. Oh, how we used to fight like cats and dogs when we were kids.... and it's all because my uncle (his grandfather) made us take a picture together one day that we started to get along... lol.

In other news, I did a speed trial for LttP. I only did the Light World, and I managed it in 1:06:43. YUCK! I know I can do it in under an hour. I made some mistakes here and there, I know that... and hopefully, I can correct them. But I'll do a Dark World run later to get a good estimate of time. YIKES my hands hurt.

Inventory thus far: Bow and Arrows, Magic Boomerang, Bombs, and I just realized I totally forgot the Magic Powder! Lamp, Bug-Catching Net, Book of Mudora, three bottles, Mirror. Pegasus Boots, Power Glove, Flippers, Moon Pearl (duh). Master Sword, Red Shield, 10 Heart Pieces, with an eleventh waiting just steps away.

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!

I just heard a commercial for the Radio City Christmas Show (y'know, where I worked last year NOIWASNOTANELFSHUTUP) on the TV downstairs. Let me repeat that, because I'm not sure you caught it.

WTF? It's barely October! I know the show starts at the beginning of November (which is still WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to early to start thinking about Christmas, IMO), but my goddesses! For all that is holy, it's still Daylight Savings Time!

Is anyone else bothered by this blatant disregard of what month it is?!

Edit: This is all your fault, Britney Spears! :::shakes fist::: I'm boycotting anything Christmas-related this year (you'll still get holiday gifts, everyone; don't worry. ^_^). Christmas was never meant to take up ONE QUARTER of the year. Anyone with me?
