Y'know how I've been complaining that I wish my house would empty? that the people who don't belong (i.e., not me or my younger brother or my parents) would just leave?

IT'S GONNA HAPPEN AFTER CHRISTMAS.

The happy: David, hurray, found an apartment that he can afford on his own, so he'll be moving out. It's great; a bit more independence for him, and I can get him an early housewarming gift for Christmas. I've decided it's going to be a Chi Chai Monchan cereal bowl and mug. David's always eating cereal, and well, he'll need a matching cup. ^_^; Also, the monkey has a big head and big ears... perfect to go with David's big nose. XD

The not-to-happy: I'm gonna be a great-auntie again. >.o You can figure out what that means. I'm not too pleased about it, more like disgusted, repulsed, all that stuff. I mean, I've never had a child, let alone be pregnant -- EVER -- so, why some people can't follow that lovely state of body is beyond me. It'll be weird, though. Remember Megan, some of you? Yeah. I'm gonna be her cousin's great-aunt. EW. Gosh, poor Titi Felicita....

Scarves. WOW, I'm super way ahead of schedule! Between Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I'll have finished a whole one (Andrea, yours is about halfway done and should be finished by Wednesday). Hurray for days off. If this keeps up, I'll be done with the December scarves at least a week ahead of schedule. Score. I just hope next week isn't as hectic as this one has been; I barely had a chance to finish my laundry. I still have to press one of my pairs of pants.

Chibimaru reminds me of Joe. Their birthdays are even a week apart. Ew. XD!!!

Edit: I finally have your snow, [livejournal.com profile] raspberrysorbet.
From my bedroom window at seven AM. No idea what all that shmutz is.
Looking down my street an hour later.
Up my street, a quarter mile from home. Near the bus stop. Yes, those footprints are mine.
Major street where the bus runs. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like running that day even though it was only an inch of snow. The street I live on is behind me, and around the corner... lol.

We've had two more inches since then. All gone from the street but not lawns and stuff, where it remains frozen. Goddesses, I can't wait until July.....

Y'know who I miss? Teleka. Wonder if she still has that same e-mail address?
