I want this book. I read the first few pages and I was so wonderfully entertained. I even decided to figure out the small angle in an 11-11-0.5 isosceles triangle (The Law of Cosines lives)! I hope it's in my library. I shall find out on Wednesday. :::giddy:::

c2=a2+b2-2abcosC
(0.5)2=(11)2+(11)2-2(11)(11)cosC
(0.25)=(121)+(121)-2(121)cosC
(0.25)=242-242cosC
-241.75=-242cosC
241.75=242cosC
0.99897=cosC, and the calculator says that C would be about 2.6ยบ. <3_<3

I'm suffering from horrible sneezures (Naty asked me if I wanted to go home early XD). Good thing I'm way ahead of the knitting schedule; I might have to take a few days off. Ooooh, I have pictures! Gryffindor! Slytherin! They look like crap in the pictures. I don't know what I have to do to take a halfway decent picture of the stupid things.... lol. I think the gold will work well for my Gryffindors. But that's it. One day I'll get around to taking pictures of my custom scarves, of which I have several. ^_^;

Two and a half weeks until 2006! I realized something during the spring, about next year. I'll post it a bit later. I just wonder if anyone else realized it, too.....

I thought it was odd enough when Trina Dhar found me on Facebook. We were in the same class in elementary and junior high school from first to eighth grades, and then we went to the same high school and had a history class together. But it's not that big a deal to find someone from your high school on Facebook (especially the high school version, lol).

Then Joshua Mohrer found me. Josh and I were in the same class from kindergarten to eighth grade, but we went to different high schools.

Today, William Wenke (K-8) found me, probably through Josh or Trina. I can't believe it. He's also found Peter Siroka and George Tsiatis, also classmates of mine from when we were uber-chibi. I thought I'd never hear from those people EVER again! :O!!!!

Also, a few people from my high school walked into the store today. I recognized one of them (a girl named Vivian) as soon as I saw her, but I didn't want to say anything. It was only when her friend asked to see some jewelry, that she asked me if I also went to Science. It was Tanya Das. :O I can't believe it!!

Let's see who else there was... :::looks at first grade class picture:::

Kristen, Joyelle, Lara, Marnie, Christina, Cory, Jonathan, Ted, Jason C., Joey, Greg, Keith, Patrick, Jason F., John, Daniel, Rachel, Jane, Tatiana, Lauren, Stephanie, Kaleila and Jessica (aside of me, Trina, Josh, William, Peter and George).

...I wonder if I can find more of us.

Otherwise:

I cut my finger on the subway banister today. It seemed like just a little nick, only it hurt a lot. And... it bled quite a bit, too. Water hurt, when I got to work and I finally had a chance to rinse it off (and use an alcohol prep OWWWWW), and I've nearly bled through my bandaid, but I think I'll keep it on a little while longer. I seriously considered buying Chococat bandaids. I didn't. Too expensive, even with the fifty percent discount. I was upset most by the fact that I couldn't knit on my way to work, and lost what was probably a whole stripe. Tomorrow's a day off though -- yay -- so I could catch up, if I'm not with Phill because he wanted to say hi or with Olua because it's her birthday.

Speaking of schedules, I've got a tentative one for next week:
Sun 12/18: OFF
Mon 12/19: 8:00-4:30
Tue 12/20: OFF (Lynda, look! Tuesday off!)
Wed 12/21: 7:00-3:30
Thu 12/22: 1:00-9:00
Fri 12/23: 3:30-11:30
Sat 12/24: OFF, and Sunday is also off because it's Christmas Day. Whoa. THREE weekend-days off in a row, after not having one since Halloween. Neat.
