One down, a whole semester to go.

Here's the rant you all knew was coming.... First of all, this keyboard is getting on my nerves. It's impossibly loud and the only reason I'm typing now is because there isn't anyone around. Even when I would tap the keys as gently as possible, they'd still make a loud CLACK sound. It's going to drive me, and anyone else around me, should they walk in, absolutely nuts.
Not to mention all the typos I'm making because the damned thing is so unresponsive. BUT ANYWAY.
My first class -- and only one so far -- was macro. For the first, oh, forty-five minutes, just from what the professor was saying, I felt halfway insulted. Great. But then class actually began. It wasn't SO bad: no books, no papers, no homework. But you know what that means: my grade is based solely on test and the final. Four tests, to be exact, worth fifty points a pop, and the final one hundred. So, let's play with the numbers, here: each test is worth one SIXTH of my grade. Fail two, fail the class, basically. So that'll be fun.
I'm currently in the student union. It's nothing like Stony Brook's; it feels more like Keller's common room with a computer, than anything. There's an arcade, but it's got four old actual arcade mahines and NO place to sit. If I find out that that's the nerd club (or equivalent), I will cry. I don't know how I'm supposed to pass the next two hours. Every week. FOR FOURTEEN WEEKS.
I stopped by the physical education department. Apparently, neither fencing NOR horseback riding have been offered in years. That's great. I might take dance instead, though; maybe I could start picking up some steps?
This keyboard is beyond annoying. I'm going to include a typo count at the end just for my own amusement.
Not really much else to say; I'm gonna try stalking the forums now, and see how long that takes. By the way, it's an old version of IE, so no browser tabs! :::cry:::
More bitching later tonight; typo count: 58.
