I was fine when I woke up this morning; I was fine when I found out that Flores called Huang into work (eeeeevil). I was fine rearranging Keroppi (we got a BUTTLOAD of new Keroppi stuff, omg awesome. I think I have to get JJ the prince plush for his birthday, even though I've still got two months), and fine when Eka strolled in, looking like death.
But that's when the tables turned and it felt like something literally punched me in the gut. I felt it, but shrugged it off as nothing, trying to be tough and continue working. What can a little stomach pain do? Psssh. Apparently, it can grow and render me completely useless. As the day wore on, I was walking slower, speaking softer, and running to the back every half hour to sit down. I was holed up in the bathroom twice PRAYING to get sick so whatever this was would go away (I didn't and it hasn't). Shortly before four, I was in the back with my head on the desk (again) and Evie -- who was sick, too -- sent me home. I didn't go on my break, so I planned on leaving at four-thirty, but she was very firm and told me to leave.
But she was very cool about it because a) she's not gonna rat on me for leaving early (it was just a half-hour! I was nearly a half-hour early, besides!) and b) she took my numbers down and clocked me out at four-thirty. Evie's the greatest.
So I slooooooooowly made my way to the train station, and the ride was surprisingly smooth, in that I didn't get worse. I got off at 169 instead of 179 to try and beat the traffic so I could actually get on the bus and home (gotta love the evening rush). Not only did it take me forever to find the bus stop, but I had to walk four blocks into the bitter wind (when did it decide to be winter again?) to get there, and as I was doing so, a bus passed me by. Didn't matter because I was waking so slowly that by the time I made it to the stop, the next one was a half-block away. XD
Why didn't I just call home for a ride? Forgot my cell phone. GENIUS!
Took a good ten or fifteen minutes to walk the quarter-mile from the bus stop and my mom FREAKED out when I dragged myself through the house. I mean unnecessarily freaked. "OH MY GOD!!!!" when she could have just said, "Are you okay? You don't look well." I tried to explain but she just kept talking over me... -_-; Finally, I was able to get up to my room -- still without getting sick, AUGH -- change into my jammies and collapse. I was out for about two and a half hours and my physical exhaustion went away but my mental exhaustion didn't and my stomach STILL hurt. Better, Mom was in the bathroom taking a shower, so I had to force myself downstairs while not getting sick on the way, cuz that's gross. XD
Nothing doing, but I felt a little better after my stint down there, so now I'm here. My back hurts from stupidness, I've got chills.... I think I'm just gonna crawl back into bed and read until I pass out again. I just hope to the Goddesses that it's not food poisoning; that usually takes two or three days to show up, and what did I have for dinner two days ago? My own cooking. X_X!!! I hope Phill's not sick, too. Hmm, I should text him....
Sandy, if I mess up tomorrow, I'm SO sorry. <3
