AnimeNEXT!
Jun. 18th, 2006 08:54 pmHome, safe and sound. A complete con recap will be up by tomorrow night, with luck, but pictures are up now. Thereare the ones in the recap of Friday below, and my Fan's View photos from yesterday (second from bottom. The Dark Link with me is a random congoer that I found. Her name's Anna) and today (third from top. I had the traditional finger-in-air Rinoa pose, but I suppose this one came out better).
AnimeNEXT, despite its lack of programming, was still lots of fun. I don't know what it is about the pictures, but I seem to measure a convention's worth by the number of pictures I've taken (and by the number of panels I attended. It amounts to a general feeling of good or suck. If I take a lot of pictures and go to a lot of panels, of course, it sounds like I had an awesome time, doesn't it?). I came home with over a hundred photos in my camera, so I think I had a fairly good time. Even when I wasn't (or Jesse wasn't) snapping pictures, I was chatting it up with friends -- new and old -- and generally enjoying myself.
