Congrats, Xi!

While I'm sitting here in a dark room, wasting time doing nothing (hey, I was reading Wiki articles! I was writing! I was attempting to do FanPlay work!), my friends continue to do wonders and pass me. Yeah, I'm a good-for-nothing shmuck, but this time I'm not depressed about it. XD Anyway, I just got an e-mail from one of my friends from high school, saying that she's now got her own review column in the New York edition of Metro (which is, as Xi said, "the brightly colored commuter paper with the really easy sudoku puzzle." It really is easy).

I'm not sure who received the e-mail and who didn't, but just in case none of you did, it's called "Around Town," it reviews underground theatre, dance performances and art exhibitions, and will be in the Friday edition of the papers starting next week. She does everything herself, which I think is ten kinds of awesome. One of my friends writes for a newspaper!
