All this time....
Apr. 19th, 2007 09:47 pmI could have been packing.
Turns out, the costume I've been working on doesn't cut it as "formal," for a couple of reasons. I think it's plenty formal, but boots and cotton aren't up to scratch on a military uniform (nor are armor or chains, so I'm glad I didn't finish it XD). It's all right, though, because the dress code for the ball is confusing as hell. Example: The rules explicity state the following: "Skirts should be knee length and in general at least half of your body must be covered in fabric." Yet, this is shown as a permissible costume. WHAAAAAAAAAT?! Next year, I'll keep it simple and be Venus, but, sheesh. Someone's gotta write the rules a little less confusingly.
You can call me after 1:45 tomorrow afternoon; I should be in the Hynes by then. I only get to South Station at 1:20. Train ride's short (I love the T. It's so cute. ♥)
Time to actually pack now and get to sleep. See you Sunday~
