Loser. XD

I stayed up until nearly six in the morning last night advancing my plot. The sun was up and I could see without aid of the lamp. XD I went to bed, and when I woke up around 1:30, I had the overwhelming urge to sew. No video games. No internet. I HAD to sew. And sew (haha, it's a pun) I did.

Yuki's shirt, as a result, is about one-third of the way complete! I cut the sleeves (I love how sleeve-pieces look so weird) and finished the sides of the shirt, including my first zipper! I'm working on the hem now and will pin the sleeves tomorrow; I need to make another trip to the fabric store to see if I can't get the appropriate ribbon to line the sleeves and collar. After that, I'll need a pattern for an A-line skirt, and then I'm good to go. Insta-Yuki/Haruhi/Mikuru (less appropriate hair)!

I also decided today that I'm not a twenty-five-year-old. I'm a +20 five-year-old. :D

OMG my friends are awesome!!

I got home just now -- another trip to the fabric store, although fruitless, because I couldn't scare up a skirt pattern. I suppose I have to borrow or wait until I can get someone to drive me to a REAL store, but I digress -- and was treated to some mail. A couple of pieces were stupid credit card offers, but the last two were from friends. Squee!

So, thank you, _lysia_ for the birthday card, and typo1138 for the DANCING CD~!!1!. I'm so excited and I love them both already, even if I haven't opened them yet. XD

Back to sewing.

Edit: OMG I start at Swatch on Tuesday, I nibbled on a little piece of kangaroo (it tastes like steak), and my dad's nerding out because he's watching Serenity on TV. o_o! I'm watching, too, although I probably shouldn't because I haven't seen all of Firefly yet....
