Jul. 26th, 2007 04:00 amI have to wake up for work in about three and a half hours, but that's okay because I just finished Deathly Hallows. :D
Everyone seems to be sad because their childhoods were over as they read the last few lines of the book. Mine was (legally) over before I even picked up the first one! XD Yet, I can act like -- and still pass for -- a high school student, so, I guess not really? I'm still not sure whether or not I should be proud of that. Point is, it's not truly over. What did Dumbledore say? "I'll only be dead when none remain who are loyal" or something like that. If the fandom's still alive, then no one's childhood is done. We'll keep clinging, and it'll still be in our hearts.
Post-Otakon: had I not stopped by Shaina's yesterday (she lent me her book, and I suppose I'll stop by the house to return it after work), I'd've been completely done with post-con wrap-up. I'm not tired, my room's clean, and I've only got a few loads of laundry. I'm impressed with myself! I do need to get started on Link's new weapons, however. Erica suggested I work with pine, but I've got no idea how to actually go about DOING it, which isn't a good thing, because I know March (and Anime Boston) will creep up on me faster than... something really fast. >.>; Help?
I'll need some hellified coffee in the morning....
