AHHH my week is already full! Monday, I plan on playing pool with Phill, since I got this random pass yesterday that lets me have lots of stuff (Evie, you're welcome to join us! Bring Elaine!). Tuesday, now that I know I'm free, I'm going to TRY to schedule an orientation at school, but that obviously won't work, so I guess I'll have the day free. Perhaps a trip to Alex's is in order. Sunday is Menachem's birthday party, and it is tradition that I hike AAAAAAALL the way up to Yonkers to go! I wouldn't miss his parties for the world, not when we play fun games like Guess Whose Eye and Law School (I'm SO serious). The schedule for next week is still pending, however, it appears that I will have Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday off. They are currently up for grabs. (Olua, Saturday is the eleventh! And I can stay late!)

I hope my luck turns around at work. I haven't been having happy experiences lately; the way people interact with me, I feel as though I'm little more than a nuisance. I don't like feeling uncomfortable at work; it makes me not want to go, and I can't just up and leave. Well, I could, but I don't want to. Sadly, this is the best job I've ever had, and it will continue to be for a while, I think. >.>; At least we're making goal?

Speaking of making goal, or not, it appears that Lids Kids has finally opened in the spot where Sanrio once stood. I went in for a few minutes yesterday while I was on my break, and I was near tears. It's the same, but... not. There are jerseys where the clearance section was, there are a bajillion hats on the plush wall, and there are no cool character cutouts in the window, rather, a PINK DEREK JETER JERSEY on a mannequin. What. The hell.

ONTO HAPPIER THINGS. I need more rings for my chainmail because I finished what I had. It's nowhere near a complete shirt -- I only had a pound of rings, after all -- but it's enough for sleeves, and it looks DAMNED cool. The sleeves themselves are too short, and I'll fix that when I get more, but, yeah. Awesome.

And Evie visited me today! I was suffering from some random sneeze attack and had my glasses off; I couldn't recognize her right away as a result (and in my mentals, she's still got brown hair. I don't know if I mentioned that she'd colored it again). But it was a very nice surprise, and she kept me company AND lifted my spirits. ♥x40kajillion.

I think that's about all the happy I can get right now. A smoothie would be nice; it did wonders for me yesterday. Mmmm, sugar.
