Cosplay helped me out in REAL LIFE. XD

So, I was at work, because that's all I do now. XD A customer wanted to buy a watch for someone as a gift, so obviously the person wasn't around. The customer said the girl's wrist was fifteen centimeters.

Star stood there, a little surprised. Nerd that I am, I immediately said, "Six inches." But we didn't know how we would measure that because we didn't have a ru--

"Wait! I HAVE MEASURING TAPE!" And lucky me that it's got inches on one side, and inches and centimeters on the other. And so the watch was sized.

"...why do you have measuring tape with you?"
"I'm making a dress. It's for a dance outfit. See, me, and these three friends of mine...."

:D Oh, by the way, I'm gonna post progress pictures no later than Monday if it kills me!

And now that conseason's coming up -- three weeks to GOOOOO -- I'm gonna be wearing that measuring tape like a necklace. I don't mind!
